The Victoria Theatre Halifax is offering school exclusive productions of the annual pantomime Sleeping Beauty, once again in 2022, including a schools side of stage BSL signed performance.

When the wicked fairy Carabosse’s evil curse causes the Princess to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into an enchanted sleep can anyone rescue her from the magical slumber before it is too late?
Sleeping Beauty will have everything you have come to expect from the Victoria Theatre pantomime with an hilarious comic, an outrageous dame, a delightfully wicked baddie, marvellous musical numbers and tons of slapstick fun.
WHY BOOK A SCHOOL TRIP TO THE VICTORIA THEATRE?
We aim to give everyone a fantastic seasonal treat and make the visit as safe and stress free as possible for your school staff, pupils and parents. We will organise everything for you, from booking the tickets, arranging return coach travel to and from your school and you can even pre-order interval ice creams for your class! You can also request an Education Pack full of follow up activities that link to the National Curriculum.
£1 PER HEAD DEPOSIT
We would like to offer schools the opportunity to secure the best seats, at the performance of your choice for a deposit of just £1 per head! The full payment for your school trip booking will then be due by Friday 30 September 2022.

LET US TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING
Safety is paramount throughout your trip to the theatre. We are continuously liaising with CMBC Health & Safety officials to ensure that we are always up to date and compliant with the latest guidelines around COVID safety. Also, as part of Calderdale Council, we are able to work closely with the Highways Department to ensure local roads are closed so school groups that have booked on our coach inclusive package can park as near as possible to the theatre. We will have a team of staff waiting to accompany you and your school across the road and in and out of the theatre.
SCHOOLS SIDE OF STAGE SIGNED PERFORMANCE
This performance aims to improve access to the pantomime for hearing impaired people who use British sign Language (BSL). The interpreter stands stage left and interprets the performance for the audience.
