Antidote Presents: Voicing Dissent: Musical Protestations

An evening of socially engaged, community-spirited music, featuring The Consumptives and Commoners Choir.

The Consumptives will share their dark yet playful, highly skilled, and totally unique stories, poetry and music, in which audiences are invited to think and engage with all sorts of subjects, leaving us with more questions than answers. The Consumptives will be joined by the Commoners Choir, a brilliant community choir from Leeds/Bradford who sing powerful original songs about the things they feel strongly about.

Antidote: our unique and experimental music programme

Antidote is a programme of artistes that see things from a slightly different point of view, for audiences who like to challenge their understanding of live music. Each of the events in the Antidote series are curated by internationally recognised composer, musician and songwriter Aby Vulliamy and feature some of the UK’s finest musicians and performers.

This event takes place in the Victoria Theatre Green Room Bar on the Circle Level (first floor).
