The Halifax Comedy Festival is BACK, and with it, the return of FREE, yes FREE stand-up Comedy Competition nights, taking place at Next Level, Dean Clough!
Each week, a new group of talented comedians will take to the stage, battling it out with their best jokes, one-liners, and stories to win a coveted spot in the Grand Final! Leading your comedy nights will be Preston’s very own funny-man, Tony Vino, who, if you've joined us in previous years, will fondly remember him for his friendly, well-thought out observational humour!
Guest MC, Kieran Lawless, the "highly energised and side splittingly funny," celebrated Irish comedian will be your MC for HEAT 3, on Tuesday 20th
Join us and discover the next wave of cracking comedians in four heeelarious heats as we search for 2026's Halifax Comedy Festival Comedian of the Year!
All you have to give is your time, encouragement and maybe a few laughs, and no tickets are required!
Just rock up and have a cracking time! Seats are first-come, first-serve - We recommend showing up at least 30 minutes before the show starts!
So come on down to Next Level grab a drink and a bite to eat, and get ready for a comedy knockout! Be part of the action and help us find the best new talent in the UK!
