In response to the Government’s statement in March 2020 advising the UK public to avoid unnecessary social contact, including by not attending theatres, Calderdale Council took the precaution of closing the Victoria Theatre. We are still waiting for further advice from Central Government about when and how we will be able to safely re-open. The team continue to work behind the scenes to make sure the theatre will reopen quickly for you once we are able to do so.
Jimmy Carr has been re-scheduled to Thursday 26 August 2021 (from Thursday 18 June 2020)
We're pleased to confirm that your existing tickets will be valid at the rescheduled date and we hope you can join us. If you have chosen to collect your tickets from the Box Office at the time of booking, your tickets will still be available for collection up to the date of the rescheduled show.
If you are unable to attend, tickets must be returned to the Box Office by 31 July 2020 for a refund – The Theatre and Box Office are currently closed and we are doing what we can from home to keep our customers informed. Once we return to work we will administer the refunds so please bear with us in this unprecedented situation.
- If you have Victoria Theatre tickets bought from the Box Office and would like a refund - these will need to be returned to the Box Office for a refund (as this event has been postponed and to allow tickets to be resold).
- If you have Print at Home Tickets and would like a refund- Please return the original print at home email which included the link to the ticket pdf (with the subject line - Your print at home tickets are ready - PLEASE PRINT) to the Box Office at email@example.com
- If you have purchased tickets though a ticket agent (eg Ticketmaster, SEE tickets etc) or any other channel and would like a refund - you will need to contact the agent directly to discuss your booking and their terms and conditions and refund policy will apply.
PLEASE NOTE: The £1.75 Theatre Support Fee that is automatically added to all tickets is non refundable. This fee is essential to supporting the theatre operations, particularly during these difficult times and it will be used to help provide necessary equipment for the safety of our audiences once we re-open for shows.
Chambers Touring Ltd Presents
Jimmy Carr: Terribly Funny
Following the success of his 2019 tour, Jimmy Carr has added new dates to his Terribly Funny tour and is returning to the Victoria Theatre in June 2020.
Terribly Funny contains jokes about all kinds of terrible things.
Terrible things that might have affected you or people you know and love.
But they’re just jokes - they are not the terrible things.
Having political correctness at a comedy show is like having health and safety at a rodeo.
Now you’ve been warned, buy a ticket so see Jimmy Carr at the Victoria Theatre Halifax!
* Ticket prices include a Theatre Support Fee when booking via our Box Office and online. No other charges are applied.
