In response to the Government’s recent statement advising the UK public to avoid unnecessary social contact, including by not attending theatres, Calderdale Council has taken the precaution of closing the Victoria Theatre with immediate effect for a minimum of 12 weeks.
Julian Clary has been re-scheduled to Wednesday 14 April 2021 (from Saturday 9 May 2020)
We're pleased to confirm that your existing tickets will be valid at the rescheduled date and we hope you can join us. If you have chosen to collect your tickets from the Box Office at the time of booking, your tickets will still be available for collection up to the date of the rescheduled show.
If you are unable to attend, tickets must be returned to the Box Office by 31 July 2020 for a full refund however we urge you to stay at home and stay safe and tickets should not be returned until it is absolutely safe to do so – The Theatre and Box Office are currently closed and we are doing what we can from home to keep our customers informed. Once we return to work we will administer the refunds so please bear with us in this unprecedented situation.
- Victoria Theatre tickets bought from the Box Office - these will need to be returned to the Box Office for a refund (as this event has been postponed and to allow tickets to be resold).
- Print at Home Tickets - If you have print at home tickets and would like a refund, please return the original print at home email which included the link to the ticket pdf (with the subject line - Your print at home tickets are ready - PLEASE PRINT) to the Box Office at firstname.lastname@example.org
- If you have purchased tickets though a ticket agent (eg Ticketmaster, SEE tickets etc) or any other channel - you will need to contact the agent directly to discuss your booking and their terms and conditions and refund policy will apply.
PLEASE NOTE: The £1.75 Theatre Support Fee that is automatically added to all tickets is non refundable. This fee is essential to supporting the theatre operations, particularly during these difficult times.
‘Are you ready for some filth? I know I am. Time once again for me to sally forth and pleasure the provinces with my particular brand of saucy innuendo. Let me at them!’
In this outrageously camp show, (that he was going to call Bed Knobs and Knee Pads but was advised might not sell too well in Harrogate), renowned homosexual Julian Clary will bare his soul as never before in the interests of light entertainment.
He’ll murder some well known songs along the way, no doubt, read you a sneak preview from his next memoir A Night At the Lubricant and make withering remarks about punters foolish enough to sit in the front row. You know the kind of thing. It’s the only life he knows. Don’t miss out.
This might well be the final mince…
“Julian Clary unleashes a tsunami of smut” – The Guardian
‘The master of camp comedy ….. mixing the expected with the spontaneous, he is pure entertainment.’ - The Times
* Ticket prices include a Theatre Support Fee when booking via our Box Office and online. No other charges are applied.
