Comedian Jon Richardson and wife; fellow comedian & writer Lucy Beaumont host an afternoon of comedy, variety and big big belly laughs all in the name of charity! They will be joined by magician, comedian & TV presenter Pete Firman, satirical comedian, writer and TV star Tez Ilyas, plus everyone's favourite housewife and Britain's Got Talent semi finalist Barbara Nice and Britain's Got Talent finalist Micky P Kerr PLUS there will be a mystery surprise guest!

Lucy is a hugely talented comedy actress and writer. She is the writer and star of BBC Radio 4’s To Hull and Back which aired its third series in early 2018. The radio sitcom also stars Maureen Lipman and Norman Lovett. In 2014, she was nominated for the Foster’s Newcomer Award with her debut Edinburgh show, We Can Twerk It Out, for which she was described by Chortle as “irresistibly endearing”. She was winner of The BBC New Comedy Award in 2012 and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer in 2013. Lucy was a finalist in the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2013 and in August 2011 she was also ranked joint third in the Gilded Balloon’s nationwide stand-up comedy competition So You Think You’re Funny?.
Lucy presented an episode of Artsnight for BBC Television Arts from Hull, City of Culture for 2017. Following a successful appearance on Alan Davies’ As Yet Untitled (Dave), Lucy has also appeared on entertainment shows such as Jonathan Ross Show (ITV) Dave’s Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier, BBC2’s QI, Comedy Central’s Drunk History, BBC Radio 2’s Listomania and presented Channel 5’s What’s Going to Kill Us. In 2013, Lucy appeared on series 2 of Live At The Electric on BBC Three and she also regularly appears as a guest on Rhod Gilbert’s podcast for BBC Radio Wales.
Pete Firman is the UK’s leading comedian/magician and a TV regular. TV appearances include ‘The Generation Game‘ (BBC1), ‘The Next Great Magician’ (ITV1), ‘Tonight at the London Palladium’ (ITV1), ‘Let’s Sing & Dance for Comic Relief’ (BBC1) and ‘Tommy Cooper Forever‘ (ITV1).
Pete first graced our screens in Channel 5’s groundbreaking series ‘Monkey Magic’ and later starred in BBC1′s prime-time Saturday night series ‘The Magicians’. His unique blend of comedy and magic has seen him invited to perform on countless prime-time TV programmes, including ‘The John Bishop Show’ (BBC1), ‘The Sarah Millican Television Programme’ (BBC2), ‘The One Show‘ (BBC1), ‘This Morning‘ (ITV1), ‘Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live’ (BBC3) and ‘The Magic Show Story’ (ITV1) amongst many others.
In his first three years as a stand up, he found himself in no less than eight competition finals including the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award and Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year. In 2015, Tez achieved phenomenal success with his debut stand up hour TEZ Talks. A sell out run at the Soho Theatre and his own BBC Radio 4 series based on the show followed, with a second series released in 2018 and a third already commissioned.
In 2016, his highly anticipated follow up show, Made in Britain,went on to sell out every single performance (including extra shows) at the Edinburgh Fringe and gained spectacular critical acclaim, with a smash hit nationwide tour in 2017. His third show, Teztify, once again delivered a spectacularly powerful, provocative and brilliantly funny hour of topical stand up, delivering to packed out audiences night after night, followed in 2018 by his second sell-out nationwide tour.
Tez is one of the stars of hit sitcom Man Like Mobeen (BBC Three) and has appeared on Mock the Week (BBC Two), The Last Leg (C4), Live From the BBC (BBC Two), Live from the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), Kevin Hart’s Live from Montreal (LOL Network), Virtually Famous (E4), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4) and made a brand new quiz show pilot for Vice.
Everyone’s favourite housewife Barbara Nice is back in Halifax for some proper good fun. In 2019 Barbara was seen on the TV programme Britain’s Got Talent where she made it to the live shows but was unfortunately eliminated in the semi finals.
Barbara Nice was first spotted by Peter Kay at the Palace nightclub in Levenshulme in 1997 at the finals of the Manchester Evening News New Act of the Year. This opened up many TV opportunities for Barbara including the role of Holy Mary in Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere. She also appeared in That Peter Kay Thing.
Micky P Kerr
In June 2018 musical comedian, Micky P. Kerr, was rocketed to stardom when he won the hearts of the nation and wowed Simon Cowell with his performances on Britain’s Got Talent. His live performance won the public vote, bagging himself a place in the 2018 finale.
Micky from Leeds, will be returning to the Victoria Theatre to share his music, social commentary and, above all, lots of laughs.

Mothershare offer this free support because they believe every child deserves the best start in life, but recognise that sometimes, some children and families need a bit of extra support and help.
